Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Komorebi Labs, Inc. ("Komorebi," "we," or "us") handles information in connection with positus.co and requests for a Positus demonstration. Positus is our movement-measurement product for physical therapists.

Information we receive

If you email us, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, work email address, clinic or organization, role, and message. The demo link opens your own email app. No inquiry is sent until you choose to send the email.

Our hosting provider, Vercel, may process technical information needed to deliver and secure the website, including IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, and request timestamps. Your email provider and our business email provider process messages according to their respective practices.

How we use information

We use business contact information to answer your request, arrange a demonstration, discuss product fit for your practice, and maintain the related correspondence. We use technical information to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website and prevent abuse. We may also retain information to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.

Cookies and tracking

We do not add advertising pixels, third-party analytics, session replay, or nonessential cookies to this website. Fonts, images, and video are served from the site. Hosting and security infrastructure may process essential technical information. An authenticated Vercel preview may have additional Vercel authentication cookies governed by Vercel's own policies.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use demo inquiries to build health profiles or to train movement-analysis models.

Who receives information

Information may be available to our authorized personnel and service providers for website hosting, security, and business email, only as needed for those purposes. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or in connection with a corporate transaction subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards.

External links lead to independent websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

Health information and clinical use

Recordings of identifiable people and movement measurements linked to them can be sensitive health information. This marketing website is not a clinical capture, storage, or treatment service. A demo request does not establish a patient relationship or authorize the transfer of protected health information.

Any future clinical deployment requires a separate assessment of applicable health-data laws, appropriate security controls, agreements, and a notice describing the actual processing. Where Komorebi acts as a business associate under HIPAA, an appropriate business associate agreement must be in place before protected health information is handled. This website does not claim HIPAA certification or that a BAA is currently available.

If you inadvertently send patient information, contact jairo@komorebilabs.com. We will assess the request, limit unnecessary access, and address deletion and any applicable notification obligations. Please do not resend the sensitive material in your follow-up.

Retention and security

We keep inquiry information for as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage an ongoing business relationship, and meet legal or security needs. Retention depends on the type and purpose of the information. You may request deletion of inquiry information; some records may need to be retained for legal obligations, disputes, or security. Hosting logs follow the hosting provider's applicable retention practices.

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and service. No online service or email system can guarantee absolute security. Ordinary email should not be used to send patient information.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access, correct, or delete your information, or ask us to stop contacting you, by emailing jairo@komorebilabs.com. We may need to verify your request. Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have additional rights, including portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent, or an appeal of a denied request. We will explain any applicable exceptions and available appeal process in our response.

Children and international visitors

This website is directed to adult professionals. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information through it. A clinical interest in pediatric gait does not mean this website is a service for children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us to request review and removal.

We are a United States company. Information may be processed in the United States or other locations used by our service providers, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location. Any additional safeguards required for a future clinical service will be addressed before that service is offered.

Messages and policy updates

This site does not offer SMS subscriptions or send SMS messages. Requesting a demo does not constitute consent to marketing texts. Any future SMS program will have its own Positus-specific opt-in and disclosures.

We may update this policy as the website or our practices change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice where required by law.
